best seattle small wedding venues

so, you’re planning a micro wedding or an intimate celebration in or near seattle? you definitely have some amazing options here. seattle is packed with unique, gorgeous venues that are perfect for any vision.

as an experienced local wedding photographer, i’ve captured a lot of special days all over and i’ll share some of my favorite seattle small wedding venues. whether you’re dreaming of waterfront views, cozy indoor vibes or something totally outside-the-box, there’s going to be something for everyone.

tips for choosing the perfect small wedding venue in seattle

as you are choosing the perfect small wedding venue in seattle or anywhere for that matter, these are some things i’d encourage you to consider.

  1. when would you like to have your wedding? consider the time of year and seattle’s unpredictable weather. if you’re dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, make sure the venue offers a solid backup plan for those inevitable rainy days.

  2. do you have a specific aesthetic in mind? whether you’re going for modern, rustic, elegant, or whimsical vibes, pick a venue that matches your vision. the right ambiance will set the tone for your entire celebration and all your wedding photos!

  3. how close does your venue need to be to other locations? think about proximity to your getting-ready spot, photo locations, or accommodations for out-of-town guests. a convenient location can make the day flow smoothly for everyone.

  4. is accessibility important to you? if you have guests with mobility needs, make sure the venue is easy to navigate and has the necessary accommodations.

  5. how many people are you inviting? “small” can mean anything from 10 to 40 guests, so double-check the venue’s capacity to ensure it fits your vision of a micro or small wedding.

  6. what’s your budget? seattle venues can range widely in price. knowing your budget upfront will help you narrow down your options and avoid surprises.

  7. do you want an all-inclusive venue? some venues handle everything from catering to decor, while others allow you to bring in your own vendors. decide whether or not you’d like to work with specific vendors, or whether you’re happy with having some of these things predetermined for you.

the final bonus tip - have you checked reviews? always read reviews and ask around for recommendations. if you’re still unsure, reach out to me—i’d be happy to help guide you in the right direction!

and with all of that out of the way, these are some of my favorite small wedding venues in seattle!
