i have been obsessed with art my entire life and found my niche in the film and photography world. like a cat, i have had many lives. i was a film school & photography student, a stay at home mom, a social worker, a sales professional, and now i am a full time entrepreneur and professional photographer…and i love it. never have i been more nourished by a career. all of my life interests have led me here, and hopefully to working with you.

the sound & sea approach to a wedding day:

for weddings we primarily shoot in a documentary style and capture as many authentic candid moments as possible to tell the story of your day. we will also cover classic and editorial wedding portraiture for your couple’s portraits.

we are experts in working with couples - we will guide you along the way to push past any awkwardness & nerves you may have and capture the best of who you are as a couple!

raw emotion is the most important aspect we like to cover for portraits and weddings. this means less canned posing, and more interaction with your loved one. this also means authenticity over perfection.

none of what you see in our portfolios are styled shoots; they are real couples in love. in the great outdoors of the PNW, you may have wind kick up your hair and get dirty boots along the way, and this is part of the charm. we will have a conversation about your expectations during a consultation to ensure we are a good match for our style of story telling.

my digital editing style is true to color and bright with natural skin tones, reminiscent of my favorite film stocks.
