an intimate seabrook wa wedding | sophie & jack

sophie & jack’s seabrook, wa, wedding was everything you’d imagine a coastal wedding would be. it was laid-back, intimate, filled with love, and, of course, all about the ocean. if you love the beach like the couple and i do (the sea in sound & sea didn’t happen by accident!), i’d definitely recommend the seabrook town hall for your big day.

i mean, it’s no wonder they chose this spot - it’s really one of the best coastal wedding venues in washington, and just a three-hour drive from seattle. if you’re after quaint waterfront vibes, sandy shores, and ocean horizon, you’ll really enjoy seeing more of this wedding day!

about sophie & jack

sophie & jack have the sweetest love story that began on a dating app just over five years ago. funny enough, they actually matched on two different apps while living just a few blocks apart in tacoma – a story that jack loves to tell!

for sophie & jack, the ocean has always held a special place in their hearts. from their engagement on the discovery trail in long beach, to their countless beach visits, the pacific coast almost feels like home.

seabrook town hall - the perfect seabrook, wa, wedding venue

seabrook was ideal for sophie & jack because it offered everything they loved—a cozy, coastal town vibe with stunning beach views and tons of charm. from their intimate beachside ceremony to a reception at the seabrook town hall, the whole day felt like an elegant summer beach party. and as you know, i am obsessed with the ocean as well, so photographing this coastal wedding was extra special to me.

seriously though, it will be tough to find a better location for a coastal wedding. their town hall ceremony space is literally right on the pacific glen bluff, so you can say your vows with that ocean backdrop. and as for seabrook town hall - it has three floors for your celebration. the main space is bright and open with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and huge windows that bring the outdoors in. they even have a loft for smaller gatherings or a white tent set up at crescent park, which is where sophie & jack held their reception. whether you want something small or a bit bigger, seabrook has options!

the elegant, down-to-earth coastal wedding day

the entire celebration was elegant yet laid-back, letting the incredible views do the heavy lifting for the decor. with minimalistic touches and a soft color palette, the atmosphere was intimate and welcoming.

the seaside ceremony was simple and heartfelt, and sophie & jack’s choice to skip the traditional wedding party made everything feel even more personal. it was all about their love and the people they care about the most.

as a couple who loves music (even though their tastes are rather different), the dance floor was absolutely lit! they and their guests danced late into the night!

glowing testimonial from the bride

“Julie! These are fantastic! Thank you so much. Honestly, I’m not sure how you captured all these angles when we didn’t even realize you were in those spots! Incredible. Thanks again for making us feel at ease and capturing comfortable shots. I especially love the golden hour photos- so happy you advocated for doing those. A big heartfelt thank you!”
